Arrival of the Blob to grow

Remember.

That was in the first quarter… As autumn began and began to give the trees touches of yellow, we welcomed THE BLOB, yellow too.

A whole project in connection with CNES, CNRS and Thomas PESQUET, then in the International Space Station. To introduce the arrival of this curious "character" several activities had been set up including a week of "Blob Rally" throughout the establishment.

The week of rally to discover the blob completed and the experiments in accordance with the specifications carried out, many multiplications of the sclerotia sent by the CNES and the CNRS of Toulouse made it possible to set up a series of experiments with half of the sixth-grade students just before the Christmas holidays. Some even made drawings.

Since then, we have continued to multiply lots of small blobs for the other half of sixth-graders who will be able to thus could carry out their own experiments on the development of the blob when you return from the end of the year holidays.

Bloby One, Blobinou, Blob Morane and Blob the sponge join the SVT team to wish you all – and with a little delay – a beautiful year 2022, at least, the most beautiful possible.

Peace and love be upon us all and may they develop with as many ramifications as our dear blob when fed healthy food! With all our thanks to the teams who have mobilized and who are still mobilizing around our small blobs.

Watch the Blob in action:

Hi all. My goal is to make a small breeding of blobs (let's say 1 million) to invade the Earth. For this, I received from my SVT teacher a beautiful blob that I named "Blob The sponge" (it's very original, don't judge). So that you can follow me in my great conquest, I have set myself a goal: to add to this collection every day or almost a photo of my blobs.

With that, I say goodbye to all of you and wish you a excellent weekend!

For this preparation, I used a coffee filter rather than Agar-agar jelly. I'm going to leave for a few minutes, then I will add the oatmeal around the blob.

In these three photos, we see that our dear Blobyone went to the seeds but didn't want them and ventured out further, looking for new food.
