First step: get your bearings in the establishment. This being done, second step: facilitate cohesion within the class. This is the purpose of the 6th Grade Integration Days (three classes per day) experienced last week by our sixth graders.
Orienteering in the morning
When we arrived at the Moulin de l'Abbaye, we divided the classes into two groups. The objective: to make a small game to get to know each team. The students then went on an orienteering race in the city of La Couronne to find beacons. On these small challenges awaited them: charade, puzzle solving, figures or poems to remember…In the middle of the route, they visited the abbey of the twelfth century in which they had to find letters to form a mystery word.
It is then the time of the Picnic.
A sporty afternoon
After the lunch break other activities await our sixths. On the program: Outdoor LaserGame, obstacle course and Skyline. Thus, in turn, the teams go through the three workshops supervised by the"Team Spirit Academy".
The interest of these three proposals is to develop the links between the participants. The LaserGame also offers the advantage of not firing projectiles. It is a light beam with sounds and vibrations that allows you to aim and touch your "opponent". Beautiful days that open a school year filled with new adventures with a little extra: remember that mutual aid is fundamental within the classroom.
