Visits to industrial sites, laboratories, conferences, etc. enriched this preparation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong><u>How does it work?<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">The competition includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>a regional step: <\/strong>the candidates of Terminale scientifique engage in a preparation. They are first sensitized to the industrial world and then pass theoretical and practical tests.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>a national stage: <\/strong>about thirty candidates are selected to come and take the decisive tests.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">The theme for this year 2017 is: &quot;<strong>CHEMISTRY AND ENERGY<\/strong>&quot;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Logo-Olympiades-Chimie.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-272\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Logo-Olympiades-Chimie.png\" alt=\"Chemistry Olympiad Logo\" width=\"315\" height=\"276\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Logo-Olympiades-Chimie.png 315w, https:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Logo-Olympiades-Chimie-300x263.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong><u>The CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD in SAINT-PAUL:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">From October, two teachers (Mrs. EPAUD and Mr. BAUCHETET) set up 5 TP within the school, on Wednesday afternoons, in order to prepare the student candidates for the Olympiads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Then it is at the academic level that everything happens: about sixty students participate in these Olympiads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">In Saint-Paul, six students from Terminale S participated in ECRITS in mid-January. Among them, two were selected for the PRACTICAL TEST on February 15: Marie HENNEQUIN and Pablo ROSSI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">At the end of this practical test Marie (TS2) was admitted to take the ORAL on March 8, 2017. The candidate who came first will go to Paris at the end of March to represent our Academy.He will then find himself with about thirty other high school students and, over two days, will have to pass two tests: a manipulation test and a collaborative test. At the end of these two days, there will be only one winner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Latest results: Marie H. came<sup>5th<\/sup> and Pablo R. 9th<sup><\/sup> out of the 63 candidates of the Academy.
