Xavier NISSAN  (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/telethon-2019-1000-chercheurs-dans-les-ecoles\/\" target=\"_blank\">avier NISSAN <\/a>came to talk about his job and his research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introducing his work<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justification_texte { text-align: justify;}\">At first, Ms. DRAGIN introduces herself and talks about her work. The object of his research work is M<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Myasth\u00e9nie (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myasthenie.fr\/maladie\/quest-ce-que-la-myasthenie\/\" target=\"_blank\">yasthenia<\/a>. It is a neuromuscular autoimmune disease. In other words, this chronic disease is linked to a defect in transmission between the nerve and the muscle. Therefore, the researcher must identify therapeutic targets. That is what she explains in her presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/www.saint-paul-angouleme.fr\/application\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Track122.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justification_texte { text-align: justify;}\">Similarly, she insists on the advantage of her profession: intellectual freedom. Therefore, &quot;no one can answer qu[ses]estions. As a result, he or she is required to work as part of a large team. Firstly patients, parents of patients (the Telethon is an association of parents) but also of course doctors, technicians, lawyers (depending on the country the law is not the same and this can have implications for research).
